On Saturday, 12 October 2013, with your family, friends, classmates and colleagues walk 7 or 15 miles and raise money for the Spinks. This is The Spink Walk 2013! Get sponsors to pledge their support - don't forget companies that match funds raised! - and walk the dream.
Both walks will start and end at St Leonards-Mayfield. The longer
walk needs to leave at the latest by 10.00am and the shorter one at the latest by
1.00pm, so please arrive by 9.30am and 12.30 respectively, to collect your
maps etc.
The walk will take you through glorious Sussex countryside with a short
time on quiet lanes. The longer walk will also encompass the beautiful Wadhurst
Deer Park. There will be a loo stop and refreshments at about the 2 hour point (and you can detour to this same stop on the second half of the longer walk too). Join us for a wonderful tea at the school at 4.00pm served in the cloisters courtesy of Antonia Beary, Headmistress.
There
will be lots of parking available at school but transport from
the train station in Tunbridge Wells to Mayfield can be arranged.
