Cycling and Running for The Henry Spink Foundation

Because there are never enough funds...

Although this site is set up to receive donations for the Spink Family specifically, we want to give a shout out to Tara Spink and Jeremy Gould, who are raising funds for The Henry Spink Foundation.

Jeremy and friend Paddy will cycle 900 miles from Land's End to John O'Groats starting 15 June 2014 because, in their words, "It seemed like a good idea at the time!" You can donate to the Foundation through their JustGiving page.

Tara is running the Bournemouth Festival Marathon, all 26.2 miles in October 2014. She too has a page on JustGiving. 

In both cases, the money raised will help the Foundation launch a new centre, which, when completed, will provide support for young people who cannot get employment because of their disabilities. These "life learning centres" will provide options for post-college disabled adults who, lacking other choices, are simply sent home.
